Samuel Horn (2022, Lawrenceville, Ga.) is a name that college coaches are going to write down, highlight, or circle as the righthander put on a dominant performance while showcasing some of the best stuff on the mound at the event. The righthander stands at a projectable 6-3, 175 pounds with tons of room to fill throughout. His fastball already touches 90 mph while his slider is already flashing plus on a professional grading scale. The righty for the Georgia Jackets has a clean delivery with minimal effort, a loose arm and he repeats his motion well. The ball jumps out of his hand and he is able to command his two pitches really well to either side of the plate. Horn was facing a pretty loaded lineup with several future DI players and held his own and quite frankly dominated from start to finish. In a four inning start, Horn struck out five hitters and only gave up two hits. No hitter made hard contact off his fastball all night and his lone barrel given up in 74 pitches was off a slider. Horn is a very talented uncommitted righthander who is also a big-time quarterback recruit on the gridiron.
