Jackson Cotton (2025, Missouri City, Texas) is a great athlete and it translates well to his swing. It’s compact with solid bat speed and he shows a feel for the barrel. He can uppercut at times but mostly keeps it level with a bat wrap in his setup but he can still get to the ball on time due to the bat speed. Cotton is an instinctive baserunner who runs the bases hard at all times. He’s aggressive and will take whatever he can get and is always looking to take the extra base out of the box.

On the mound, Cotton has a very projectable arm with a fluid delivery and extension out front. His fastball topped out at 77 mph and has a bit of life to it glove side. He also has a feel for a sharp breaking ball. He’s an impressive two-way player who should be on the radar as both.
