2023 uncommitted first baseman Brayden Stanley (2023, Ramsey, N.J.) kicked off the Super25 16U National Championship the right way Thursday, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. The athletic righty showcased a balanced approach at the plate with quick hands, generating consistent solid contact to the pull side. He was decisive at the plate and didn’t chase pitches out of the zone. With some additional strength on the frame, it’s very possible that the currently uncommitted Stanley could become a serious dual threat hitter in the future.
