Southeast Fall Finale Scout Notes

Christian Jackson (2022, Stockbridge, Ga.), a 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed hitting shortstop, was the MVP of the 2021 Upperclass/ 2022’s PG Southeast Fall Finale. The Georgia State commit finished with a .500 average and two walks over 14 plate appearances for the Champion Atlanta Twins. He did a little bit of everything over the weekend with five runs batted in, four runs scored, four stolen bases and pitched one scoreless inning in the 7-5 finals victory over Blue Sox Baseball 17U. On the bump, he ran the fastball up to 87 mph with a breaking ball in the mid-70s. Throw in his smooth fielding at shortstop and Jackson showed he is an exceptional athlete with skills on all sides of the ball.
