The UCLA commit was impressive behind the dish, and everything he did was textbook perfect. He showed the ability to keep the ball in front, showed off some athleticism and moved well behind the dish. He displayed smooth footwork with a quick transition, gains good ground and made firm, accurate throws. Also swung the bat well, consistently made solid contact. Hit a line drive up the middle to score the first of the game. Balsz has a short, compact swing with decent bat speed.
