Jack Kirrer, 2022, RHP, Mater Dei High School Kirrer is a sub-6-foot righty with a very lean, athletic frame. Really quick arm, gets on top well. He ran the fastball up to 89, working 85-88 in a brief three-inning complete game. Velo mainly dipped after very long offensive innings (Mater Dei scored 15 in three innings). He mixed in two high-spin breaking balls, with some overlap in velocity. Curveball gets big break, 12-5 shape at 74/75 with the slider coming in a few ticks firmer with more lateral action but still getting length to the break. Both got spins into the 2600s. The Cal commit had 7 strikeouts in his three frames of work.
