Landon Gordon, 2025, RHP, Mater Dei High School
This was our second look at Gordon during the Showdown and he continued to be impress with his repertoire and mature demeanor on the mound. Advanced feel for his secondaries, goes to the 75-77 mph changeup a lot that he can really turn over getting good fade and downward action. Spins the breaking ball well 71-73 with spin rates in to the 2300s. Not a huge fastball, but it plays in the low-80s coming from an easy athletic delivery it’s easy to project more velocity with physical maturation.
