Gustavo Navejas (2027, Giddings, Texas) is a physical hitter but it’s the arm strength that easily translates to the mound that stood out. It is a clean delivery given the physicality at this age, he worked up to 80 mph in a short look out of the bullpen and has the arm speed to project more down the line. There’s short sinking life to the fastball as he commands it well and the breaking ball at 68 has some components that give it a solid foundation.
