Jacob Budd (2024, Litchfield, Ill.) was dominant in every sense of the way for Flood City Midwest this weekend in his start on the mound. Budd recorded a no-hitter against the Cangelosi Sparks, going six innings on the mound with seven strikeouts and three walks given up. The frame isn’t huge at 5-foot-10, 175 pounds but he has a good feel for the game and puts his body in position to be successful on the mound. His fastball got up 80 MPH, sitting mostly 75-79 with straight action. Quality arm here who will pound the zone all game long.
