A couple of home runs got launched during the 8:00 am slot over on the B quad as Jordan Hudson (2024, Valdosta, Ga.) and Nathan Tichy (2024, San Jose, Calif.) both went deep via the long ball.



Hudson had the more game-deciding home run as he literally hit the walkoff when Team Elite was tied in the bottom of the seventh inning. He’s got a lean and projectable 6-foot, 170-pound frame with a fairly compact and level-planed swing. Hudson has a wide base and did a nice job at turning the barrel over on an elevated fastball and letting his strength do the work. Hudson leveraged the front side nicely to allow that strength to take hold and came away with their most important barrel of the day.
