Dylan Bowman (2027 Quinton, VA) is an intriguing young LHP to keep an eye on, as the projectable 6-foot, 170-pound prospect was able to toss 5.1 innings of two run, seven strikeout baseball Sunday for SBA Mid-Atlantic Scout. With his FB already touching 82 mph, Bowman certainly has the makings and projectability to be something special, showcasing composure on the mound that most kids his age have yet to attain. In terms of the operation, the lefty displays plenty of balance over the rubber and works quickly to keep hitters uncomfortable in the box. The arm action is clean with a high ¾ release that flashed developing spin profile on a looping 12-6 CB for swing and miss. There’s tons of evident sinking action and run on the heat that consistently generated swings over the top of, and should Bowman find a reliable 3rd offer
