Blake Umberger (2026 Hershey, PA) was more than effective in the heart of the order for the Champs 3U3D Delucia Baseball over the course of his weekend, flashing both contact and power potential from a built 5-foot-10, 180 pound frame for his age. From the right box, Umberger started from a wider slightly crouched base with lots of bat waggle and hand movement pre-pitch. He utilized a toe tap trigger displaying plenty of solid barrel extension and control, consistently using the pull side of the field to his advantage. As a .431 career hitter in PG events (139 PA), this isn’t anything new for the ‘26 prospect so only expect more of the same for years to come.
