Coastal Upperclass Fall Champ. Scout Notes

Dylan Howell (2025, Stanley, NC) was masterful in his start for Team Elite Platinum 2025 White versus the Richmond Braves 18u Elite. The 6-0/175 LHP exemplified what it means to be a pitcher as be filled up the zone with his fastball/breaking ball mix. Using a simple, repeatable delivery, he gets down the slope well and nails release point at a high level as he threw 67% strikes. He went 5.0 IP in his start, on only 68 pitches and the southpaw only surrendered 1 hit, no runs, 1 walk and punched out an impressive 11 batters. There is projection to his frame and cruises in the low-80s with his fastball and has late depth on his mid-70s curveball. Howell is uncommitted, showed moxie on the mound and will be effective at the next level.
