Eli Nissen is a 2023 LHP/ with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Minot, ND who attends Magic City Campus. Medium frame with a stocky and compact build. Primary left-handed pitcher, works with a controlled and balanced operation. Long and loose arm action. Worked quickly and efficient. Fills up the strike zone with all four of his pitches. Showed the fastball that was 89-90 with a spin rate up to 2408. Nasty change-up that he kills the spin on (1540 RPM) and tunnels well. Impressive pitchability. Showed a big 1-7 shaped curveball (2280) with sharp action and depth and a slider (2400 RPM) that is firmer. Can get swing and misses with all the pitches. Crafty left-handed pitcher with four pitches. Excellent student. Creighton commit. Named to the 2023 National Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
