Wells Twining is a 2025 RHP with a 6-6 180 lb. frame from Bethesda, MD who attends Walt Whitman HS. Extra large frame with a high waist, long arms, and substantial projection throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Turn step into a leg lift above the belt. Pretty low effort release with a full arm swing and a high three-quarters arm slot. Pitched with both a four-seam and a two-seam with his best command coming to the arm side. Topped out at 86 mph with a super low effort release. Slider is a flat sweeper with lots of horizontal break to it at times. Good deception with a fairly functional operation. Flashed a couple of changeups that showed potential for swing-and-miss against lefties. High level upside long term. Tremendous student.
