2022 Northwest Prospect Showcase
Kolby Landon is a 2023 RHP/3B/SS with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Idaho Falls, ID who attends Thunder Ridge. Physical, athletic frame with well-proportioned strength. Ran a 7.27 in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher, good drive down the mound with a short arm action and high three-quarter slot. Good intent in the arm path. Fastball is a mid-80s offering with late plane and overwhelmed batters. Feel to spin in a low-70s slider, horizontal bite with real tight break. Potent two-pitch mix that stood out and was commanded well. Infielder, athletic actions on the dirt with clean transfers. Has arm strength across the diamond from a deliberate arm action. Really solid display on both sides with upside. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
