Andrew Cusick is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Dexter, MI who attends Dexter. Large frame with a sturdy build starting to fill out physically. Ran a 7.59 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Raises above the belt before striding out. Long arm stroke in the back before releasing from a three-quarter slot. Does a nice job getting sink on the baseball. Heavy fastball up to 78 mph with spin rates just over 2,000 rpm. Mixed in a breaking ball in the low-60's with spin rates up to 1,555 rpm. Proved he could land for strikes. Secondary First Baseman, kept the baseball in front of him while proving to have feel for the glove. Proper footwork both around the bag and while turning two. Feel for the position. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back a bit before working into the baseball. Clean gather and then works into extra steps before releasing from a lower slot. Throws up to 77 mph. Left-Handed Hitter, upright and even to start. Short stride out working into a guided, linear cut. Middle of the field approach. Outstanding Student.
