Luke Harnishfeger is a 2024 C/RHP, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Arlington, VA who attends Washington Liberty. Medium, well-proportioned frame with strength throughout and room to add more. Recorded a 3.96 second thirty-yard dash time. Primary catcher with sound defensive skill set and some present arm strength. Receives from a slightly side-saddled stance with soft hands, a quick mid-line transfer and good direction out of the crouch. Stays compact with his footwork, gaining ground towards his target effectively and produced online, accurate throws. Recorded arm strength up to 71 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Simple, repeatable operation with good balance into leg lift and medium stride length out to foot strike. Creates some deception with slight crossbody release. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 76 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower with developing command of the strike zone, flashed slurve shaped breaking ball with varying shape that will need to be refined to become a viable option. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even based stance with a tight hand set and subtle forward stride into contact. Middle-of-the field approach with compact, line drive stroke and some present bat speed. Displayed consistent bat-to-ball skills with feel for the barrel and some budding power potential as he continues to add strength. Fundamentally sound prospect with solid catch-and-throw skill set and some offensive upside, will continue to improve with proper adjustments mechanically and additional strength. Good Student.
