Griffin Loy is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Nancy, KY who attends Somerset. Recorded a 7.52 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall, strong, and physically advanced frame. Employs a leg lift to chest level, landing on line at foot strike. Operation is easy and low effort, uses medium length arm action, releasing from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball topped at 86 mph and showed good confidence in his pair of breaking balls. 12-6 curveball that he buried for swing-and-miss. Slider is a more firm pitch with more lateral break. Also flashed a changeup to round out four-pitch mix. Secondary first baseman andlooked comfortable around the bag, showing good arm strength and solid glovework. Right-handed hitter and showed power upside during round. Stays shorter to the ball on an inside path. Linear stroke and came off well with some jump and carry all around the field. Recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Excellent student.
