Gavin Garcia is a 2026 IF/RHP with a 5-2 120 lb. frame from Denver City, TX who attends Denver City. Smaller young build with lots of growing ahead of him. Right handed hitter, has a very simple and under control swing with a good timer and shift into contact, gets the barrel out front on time and makes consistent contact, good swing to grow into. 8.37 runner in the sixty. Has smooth athletic actions in the infield on defense, good body control and plays with some energy, makes accurate throws, second base tools at present. Also pitched, has a big leg raise hip turn delivery, high 3/4's arm slot with a long and loose arm circle in back, tends to break his hands late causing his arm to rush at times. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, mostly straight. Curveball was his go to pitch and he threw it often and for strikes.
