Matthew Gaspar is a 2025 RHP with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Whitby, ON who attends Sinclair Secondary. Features an XL build with some strength present. Primary right-handed pitcher. Gets down the mound well using slight drop and drive mechanics. Throws with intent. Hides the ball well throwing out of a 3/4 slot with short arm action. Fastball sat 80-85 mph with armside run. Showed the ability to get it in on hitters, overwhelming them fairly often. Paired it with a slider at 68-71 mph with short, tilting action. Lands it for strikes. Still developing consistent feel for the offering. Showed swing and miss ability throughout. Named to the PG CPBL Fall Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
