2023 Jr. National Showcase
Ben Goodacre is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Ancaster, ON who attends Ancaster. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from he stretch with good lower half mechanics down the mound and a clean arm swing. Fastball worked mostly in the mid-80's and topped out at 88 mph while showing good running action that got it off barrels consistently, really projects added velocity well with his arm stroke and his body. Threw two breaking balls with distinctly different shapes, one a downer curveball and the other a sweeping slider with good horizontal action. Very promising young arm talent. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
