Rogers is a young Dominican shortstop with nice quick actions and a very strong fluid arm. He's 6'2/160 with a nice frame to build on so he's highly projectable. He looks like he can run much better than the 7.38 we got him in Lincoln. He shows excellent hitting potential, but has a few bad mechanical habits to overcome. He bars the front arm and wraps a bit much. As he straightens out his swing and gains weight and strength, he should become an excellent professional player and hitter. Esmil throws upper 80s across the infield with nice arm action. It makes one wonder what he'd be like on the mound.
