Josiah Sloan is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 5-7 105 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NC who attends Jack Britt. Slender young build. Has an easy well paced delivery on the mound, tucks his raise leg and gets his hips turned, lands on line and has good direction to the plate, easy to repeat mechanics. Fastball worked in the mid-60's, was very accurate to the arm side. Showed nice feel for landing his curveball, threw strikes with both pitches. Nice starter kit for a crafty plus command southpaw. Left handed hitter, hits from a pre-load still start with limited shift into contact. 8.38 runner in the sixty, plays the infield when not on the mound.
