Jake Wakamatsu is a 2011 OF/SS with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Keller HS. Athletic build with some present strength. Quick actions, 6.86 runner, good footwork in the outfield, quick balanced release, fields smoothly, solid arm strength. Also plays infield, 2B tools, quick simple release. Left handed hitting, big leg kick load, tends to pull off the ball, inconsistent swing but shows bat speed and raw power, tools to develop. Good student. Son of former ML player/manager Don Wakamatsu.
