Mathew Goodson is a 2012 OF with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Oxford, AL who attends Oxford HS. Solid athletic build, strong all over. Didn't run 60, has run 6.57 in the past at PG events. Very good raw arm strength, on line accurate throws, speed for centerfield. Still start hitting, pre-stride, effort swing, uses strength to create bat speed. ball jumps hard on contact, has some pop, hitting tools but needs refinement to his approach. Top level athlete. Good student, verbal commitment to Alabama.
