Ricky Sanchez is a 2012 C/OF with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Christian HS. Medium build, athletic look, some present strength. Very sound catch/throw skills, athletic and quick, quick transfers, accurate throws with carry, game approach during drills, 1.99 best pop. 7.1 runner, good outfield actions as well. Rotational upper half swing, keeps swing short and quick to the ball, contact approach, will move ball around the field, approach limits power at present. Tools to be defensive standout. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect Team. He is also an excellent student.
