Austin Smith is a 2011 C with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Assumption HS. Strong lower half, looks bigger than list. Stays low receiving, soft hands, blocks well, raw arm strength, long release hinders pop times. Right handed hitter, quiet set up, some wrap to start, tall stance, shows raw strength in swing and some bat speed, can drive the ball to the middle of the field, some lift in swing.
