Matthew Little is a 2006 infielder from Virginia Beach, Virginia, who profiles best as a third baseman in the future. He has some projectability to his 5'11", 170 lb. frame. Little’s best raw tool is his arm strength. He reached 81 mph across the infield with a nice arm stroke. Little fields most balls off to the side in a side saddle sort of stance, which slows his release and hampers his range. Little is a 7.41 runner who seems pretty light on his feet. At the plate, Little hits from a wide stance with a backward hand hitch that leaves him late to some balls, although he does develop good bat speed. Overall, Little has a lot of things that he does well athletically that can come together for him in the future.
