2004 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Clegg is a 2005 LHP with a big, solid 6'4"/210 pound frame. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with good loose arm action. He uses his strong lower half well during his balanced delivery. He has an easy fluid motion that seems effortless. His fastball topped out at 83 and had good life with hard late tail at times. He threw numerous tight, 1-7 curveballs at 67-71 mph and was able to consistently locate them. He throws a hard change at 76 mph that has good sink. He's a very interesting DI lefty prospect with size.
