Johnnie La Rossa is a 2013 SS/IF, OF, 3B, 3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from North Massapequa, NY who attends St Dominic. Lean athlete with present strength and quick twitch athleticism. Good defensive outfielder, gets to ball easily, good instincts, hands are clean, quick release. Comes out very well, online with carry. Very good defensive OF, might be better as infielder, smooth easy action, very good hands, plenty of arm strength. Left handed hitter with quick hands and lots of strength throughout. Raw bat speed with pull pop. Hit only home run of showcase. Player to follow. Good student.
