Sam Norman is a 2012 1B/LHP with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Des Moines, IA who attends Roosevelt HS. Tall well proportioned athletic build, starting to fill out. Straight stance hitting, busy load, limited flow towards contact, some back side collapse, loose extension out front, creates very good bat speed at times, shows power potential, length creates inconsistent swing mechanics. 7.48 runner, athletic actions at first base. Outstanding student.
