Aaron Soto is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Miami Lakes, FL who attends Monsignor Pace HS. Medium athletic build, good present strength. Tall on line delivery, compact arm circle, tight 3/4's release point, hides ball well, good extension out front. Fastball to 84 mph, up 5-6 mph since this summer, good consistent arm side run. Big breaking 12/6 curveball is a good pitch, maintains arm speed well on change up. Throws 3 good pitches for strikes and has deception and feel. Left handed hitter, has hitting tools and some present bat speed. Balanced swing, quick hands, stays short to the ball, confident smooth swing, solid line drive contact to all fields, shows bat control and game hitting ability. Two-way prospect. Good student.
