Sam Kortes is a 2012 MIF/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Prior Lake, MN who attends Prior Lake. Athletic build with projection. Clean actions at SS, long arm action with solid strength. At the plate, good hands with solid line drive contact. Strength in swing, barreled up balls. Good leverage with strong hands. Will benefit from better use of lower half. Full arm circle action on mound, fastball is mostly straight, keeps it down in zone.
