Lucas Wakamatsu is a 2015 SS/2B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Keller HS. Long and slender athletic build, very projectable physically. 6.71 runner, light on his feet defensively, moves quickly to the ball with good acceleration and balance, clean actions with soft hands, very good body control, good arm strength with carry and accuracy, polished defensive player. Switch hitter, similar approach both sides, stays short and direct to the ball, best contact pulling but stays directional and will hit to all fields, very good barrel control and made consistent solid game contact, high average hitter, power will develop with additional strength. Very projectable in all areas and has the present skills. Good student, verbal commitment to Rice. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
