Tekwaan Whyte is a 2015 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Stephenson HS. Tall, lean, athletic build with additional room to add strength. Ran a 7.09 60 yard dash. Shows quick actions at shortstop and has an above average throwing arm. Moves his feet well and can make accurate throws from different angles. Arm plays well on the mound as well, consistently hits 88 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot and pitches downhill. Also mixes a sharp 76 mph curveball with good depth. Throws a harder slider with more lateral shape. Both are quality pitches. High upside on the mound. Switch hitter, works from a spread setup and produces consistent line drives to all fields. Good life off his barrel and has a pull side approach. Good bat speed. Intriguing two-way talent. Named to Top Prospect list.
