Ethan Herron is a 2015 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Urbandale, IA who attends ADM HS. Tall slender build, has some present strength room for more. Right handed hitter, very spread stance with a limited stride and weight shift to contact, rotational upper half swing, long smooth line drive swing, flashed strength at contact, works the middle of the field, high average/low power approach. Showed nice actions at first base defensively, soft hands and accurate throws with a long loose arm action. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot with the same long loose arm action, gets good sink and arm side run on a fastball topping out at 80 mph, fair curveball spin. Good student.
