Sean Bouchard is a 2014 3B/SS with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic HS. Long and loose athletic build, lots of room to get stronger, projects very well physically. 6.66 runner, moves very well for his size defensively, charges very well, plenty of arm strength to make all the throws from third base, could develop into a standout defensive third baseman. Right handed hitter, gets to front side early, front foot hitter, back foot occasionally flies out, easy bat speed when he's balanced, hits relaxed, very fast hands, shows pull power, handles inside game velocity easily, simple strong approach, projects offensively and has a high ceiling. High ceiling talent who is going to keep improving. Excellent student, verbal commitment to UCLA. Selected to the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
