John Thomas Mauldin is a 2014 3B/RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends St Michael's HS. Large frame, thick muscular build. Long swing generates good raw power with very good strength at contact. Hits from an open stance, lots of moving parts to swing, controls them well with good present strength but inconsistent timing against high level pitching as a result. Solid defensive actions, works through the baseball well, hands work. Runs well for his size, athleticism in addition to strength.
