Lucas Herbert is a 2015 C/1B/OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from San Clemente, CA who attends San Clemente HS. Strong well proportioned athletic build. Loose and flexible set up behind the plate, shifts and moves well blocking, quick release and exchange, solid arm strength, polished defensive player with tools and skills. Right handed hitter, gets to his front side early, good hand quickness with a loose extended swing, has some pull power and strength, handles the barrel well and squares up consistently, good offensive tools for a catcher.
