Trevor Nevill is a 2014 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends Cherokee. Medium frame with an athletic frame and some room to fill out. Ran a 7.47 60 yard dash. Left handed pitcher who throws from a high three quarter arm slot. Sound mechanics, stays tall in the back, and generates good downhill plane. Fastball sat 82-84 mph with some arm side run. Projectable velocity. Feel for both a 2/8 shaped curveball with tight break and a good straight change up at 77 mph low in the zone. Threw all three pitches for strikes. Attack the ball in the outfield, moving feet well to get in position to make play. Left handed hitter who works from an open stance and high hand set. Shows strength in swing and quick hands, resulting in sound contact. Good bat speed. Very good student.
