Brendan McKendry is a 2014 1B/UT with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends University School. Strong athletic build, some physical maturity. Left handed hitter, short strong swing, swings hard and looks to drive the ball, tends to cut off swing in front limiting power potential, squares up the ball well, can drive the ball opposite field and pull as well, solid game at bats, will improve with adjustments to front side swing mechanics. Outstanding hands at first base, picked everything, stays balanced with good footwork and will save his infielder's errors. Good student.
