AJ Moore is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Mountain View HS. Tall slender build, lots of room to get stronger, projects well physically. Simple leg raise delivery, long one-piece arm action in back, tends to show hitter the ball, high 3/4's coming through, good arm speed coming through. Fastball to 91 mph, very good fastball running/tailing action, consistent life makes fastball hard to square up. Change up best secondary pitch, gets similar big running life, still learning to command movement on pitches but nice weapon for him. Short slider with good power and fair bite at times, will need to continue to develop breaking ball. Good student, verbal commitment to Kennesaw State.
