Colby Sweat is a 2014 C/ with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Pace, FL who attends Pace. Tall, strongly built frame and looks the part behind the plate. Ran a 7.71 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a wide setup and is slightly open. Flashes good bat speed and power potential. Takes an aggressive swing and hits well in game action. Makes consistent, line drive contact. Gets the ball out quickly from behind the plate. Has some moving parts in his arm action, but has the tools to make it work at catcher. Excellent student.
