Braxton Morris is a 2014 SS/2B, OF, RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Albertville, AL who attends Albertville. Has an athletic build with room to fill out and a medium frame. Displayed a quick smooth transfer at short stop with a quick release, his throws are accurate with online carry and he has good lateral agility. Does a good job of attacking the ball in the outfield with an accurate arm and good footwork. Gets out of the box quick moving down the line well, is a lead-off hitter with a level swing, hitting the ball to all fields, and makes consistent contact. He throws from an over the top arm slot with an online delivery and a good mound presence. His fastball has good sink to it, he also mixes in a short breaking curveball and a good changeup with good sink to it. He is an interesting 2-way player to follow and is an excellent student.
