Alex Lange is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Lee's Summit, MO who attends Lee's Summit West HS. Strong mature physical build. Aggressive delivery with some energy, high 3/4's arm slot, repeats well, clean fast arm coming through. Consistent low 90's fastball velocity, topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight. True slider with good two-plane and break when down in the zone, proper arm speed on change up with good fading action at times. Have seen different outings when fastball, slider or change up has been his top pitch, has three present quality pitches and the ability to mix and spot them in sequence. very good present tools and skills. Very good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State.
