Eli Boggess is a 2014 SS/3B/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Versailles, KY who attends Woodford County HS. Medium athletic build, good present strength. Right handed hitter, quiet approach, low hand set, good balance, has good present bat speed, fluid swing, mid field line drive contact, some alley power, stays back well on off speed, nice overall hitting tools. 7.16 runner, good aggressive instincts on the bases. Smooth defensive actions, soft hands, stays balanced, will have to speed up exchange and release. Also pitched, compact arm action with 3/4's release, fastball to 80 mph, very fast inning.
