2015 Florida Top Prospect Showcase
TJ Densmore is a 2016 RHP/OF, 3B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Coral Glades HS. Compact frame, lean athletic build. Small side step delivery, able to control body well and repeat delivery pretty consistently, late hand separation, works to a high three quarter's arm slot. Fastball up to 87 mph, offering has some late life, got into a good rhythm in later innings, showing better command and ability to hit locations. Also has a curveball with 11/5 shape, pitch shows promise, can get around the side of it at times but flashes good depth when on top, extended over front side. Rare changeup, keeps good armspeed on offering, flashes solid fade and is able to keep it down in the zone. Right handed hitter, wide base with tight hands set. Deep hand load, arm swing with pullside approach, flashes good carry and strength off of the barrel when squared. Good student. Named to the Showcase Top Prospect List.
