Leo Rodriguez is a 2015 RHP/UT with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Mount Dora, FL who attends Montverde Academy. Strong athletic build, especially in the lower half. Simple pitching mechanics, slow paced delivery, long arm circle in back, stays tall on his back side, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight, works down in the zone with his fastball with good angle. Short slurvy breaking ball with occasional 11/5 depth. Gets good fading action on his change up at times. Throws strikes with all pitches and has the ability to mix. Has been up to 90-92 at PG events previously, has more arm strength than he showed this outing.
