Marcos Ventura is a 2013 OF/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Juncos, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Big strong physical build. 6.79 runner, have seen down to 6.62 in the past, very good underway, has speed and actions for the outfield but must improve throwing mechanics, also plays first base, likely future position. Left handed hitter, separates on back side and leans back, long upper cut swing from low hand start, has raw bat speed and strength in swing but needs adjustments for the next level.
